Deep Fried Bananas



I am not going bananas but I don't want them to turned brown and since these bananas have been sitting in a fruit bowl for few days, I decided to give this recipe a try.

This recipe was so easy. They turned out delicious and crisp on the outer crust. It was sweet and healthy treats.



Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
3 tbsp rice flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
5 bananas
oil for deep frying
sugar (to sprinkle on top of the fried-bananas)
1/2 lime, cut in wedges


Method:



Sift both flours and salt together into a bowl, then gradually add the water just enough to make a smooth batter. Mix well. 


Peel the bananas and dip them into the batter 2 or 3 times. Heat the oil to 375 degrees F. Deep fry the battered bananas until crisp and golden brown. Place the fried bananas in a paper towel & let them drain. Serve hot, sprinkle with sugar and lime wedges to squeeze over the bananas.
